Do you want to design for toys and collectables?
The Toy Association is excited to announce the inaugural “CF@TF” Inventor Day being held Friday, February 15, 2019 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City during Toy Fair New York. Through Creative Factor, The Toy Association’s educational program for inventors and designers, a select number of inventors with fresh ideas will have the opportunity to pitch their idea to established toy and youth entertainment professionals including potential manufacturing partners.
We are reaching out to our member companies to invite your Inventor Relations representative(s) to participate in this exciting new endeavor, and to potentially find the next great plaything. Toy Fair has long been a hub of innovation and creativity and now we are able to offer our member companies the opportunity to discover their next big seller!
Initial review and selection of submissions will be done by the Creative Factor Advisory Board led by Brett Klisch, PeruMeridian Studios; Robin Raskin, Living in Digital Times; Billy Langsworthy, Mojo Nation; Matt Nuccio, Design Edge; and Warren Tuttle, United Inventors Association of America.
Once approved, the inventors will be invited to participate in these pitch sessions scheduled for Friday, February 15, at Toy Fair. The product reviews will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. You would then have the opportunity to meet with each designer, see their product, hear their pitch, and, if interested, you would then be able to move the conversation forward.
Please mark your calendar to explore this new Toy Fair opportunity! If you have any questions, please contact either Brett Klisch.
We look forward to providing a meaningful pipeline of innovation for the industry and for you as a provider of play.
